[Danny Phantom Fic] Seed Verse Master Post

Seed Verse

This entire storyline ballooned out of wanting to explore an idea involving a love triangle between Danny Fenton, Danny Phantom and Sam Manson. In order to make that possible I had to come up with a way to create a separate Danny Phantom and this is the result. It has since ballooned into a massive storyline made up of several one shot and multi part fics.

The Fics:

A Shocking Separation: At a fund raising dinner Vlad is apparently separated from his ghost half which is captured by a new ghost hunter.

Bad to Worse: It is Danny's turn to loose his ghost half.

The Seeds: Ghost Danny learns the real secret of his origin from the ghost hunter.

Explosive Escape: A tragic event occurs when and the Ghost clones are given a chance at escape.

The Worst Crime: Spectra has commited the worst crime possible and she doesn't care.

Missing and Found: Part One Part Two Dani is missing and Jazz instead runs into the copy of Danny's ghost half.

House Guest: Part One Part Two Ghost Danny staying in Sam's house leads to complications

Ominous Signs: The ghost portal is fixed and the first ghost copies are sent packing but the Plasmius copy has disocvered somethign disturbing about them.

Family Troubles: Jazz tries to help Danny understand and deal with the change in relationship between Ghost Danny and Sam.

Dealing with HimselfPart One Part Two: Vlad's ghost seed emerges and the copy of Plasmius is interested in making deals with both of them.

True Power: The Plasmius copy reveals his real goals.

Recovery: Ghost Danny and Sam discuss his recovery.

Prisoners: Spectra is joined in her prison by another.

The Secret of the Seeds: The ghost hunter has a talk with Sam and Tucker about the nature of ghosts, the seeds and something about his plans that have gone wrong.

Confirming the Secret: Ghost Danny takes a trip to Ghost Amity Park to confirm what was said about the Ghostly copies of Sam's parents.

Teacher Knows Best: Mr. Lancer's ghost seed pops and it isn't pretty.

Ugly Truths Part One Part Two: The Ghost Seed in Danny finally emerges and takes action.

Working Things Out: Maddie hopes that she will be able to work through things now that the truth is known.

Friendly Visit: Ghost Seed Danny pays Vlad a friendly visit.

Ghost DadPart One Part Two: Jack's ghost seed proves to be even more absent minded then he is.

The Gift: Ghost Seed Danny has a gift for Sam that might let her find Ghost Danny. However, it leads to an unexpected out come and severe destruction in the ghost zone.

Lucky Break: Spectra has good luck for a change.

The Search: Danny, his parents and Ghost Jack Searching for Ghost Danny

Visiting Family: Ghost Seed Danny comes for a visit.

Identity Revealed: Ghost Seed Danny lets Valerie in on the big Secret.

A Glimmer of Good: Ghost Seed Danny shows Maddie that their might be some good in him after all.

The Return:Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 : Ghost Danny returns from the Ghost zone.

Time's Up: After an Attack Mr. X has no choice but to move up his plans.

The Fall of the King: To Stop the new King a sacrifice has to be made.

Saving Ghost Danny Danny must work with Ghost Seed Danny to save Ghost Danny.

New Look: One of the Danny's reveals a new look

Anti-climax: Spectra is back and not impressed with Mr. X's final fate.

Notes: This is part of my seed verse and takes place about two weeks from A shocking separation

Bad to Worse

He sat in the Nasty Burger booth listening to Tucker’s latest theories on the identity of the new ghost hunter who was Amity Park’s new favorite person. He’d managed to foil every ghost attack on his own over the last two weeks and every time he saw him he called him an abomination and tried to catch him. He had no idea where Dani was and Vlad had taken off from the hospital resigning as Mayor and leaving to recover from his traumatic ordeal. “Danny you haven’t even touched your food,” Sam said sounding worried interrupting Tucker’s latest theory that it was the result of evil aliens.

“Oh sorry was just thinking,” He said quickly grabbing his burger and taking several bites. “I just wish I could locate Dani I’m really worried about her.” He was reaching for his drink when he felt suddenly sick. “I gotta go.” He said rushing to the bathroom feeling like he was going to barf. He was running for one of the stalls when he collapsed shifting into his ghost form. “What’s happening?” he said to himself as he felt a terrible wrenching sensation and found himself laying on the floor looking up at his own concerned face. “It happened to me but how?”

“I don’t know but Sam and Tucker are staging a food fight in front of the bathroom while I get you out of here.” His ghost version said as he held out a hand to help him up. “I tried getting back inside you but it didn’t work and it felt wrong some how.” His ghost self said as he helped him up and then phased them through the walls of the building so they were outside. “Tucker thinks we should go try the merge side of the Fenton Ghost catcher.”

He guessed it was their best shot but before he could respond a blast hit his ghost self and he was sucked away into what was clearly a Fenton thermos held by the new ghost hunter. “Now boy we end this.” The man was on him like a shot holding him by the neck. “Swallow this.” The man said forcing something into his mouth. He tried to fight back but the man was too strong and soon he was having water forced into his mouth forcing him to swallow whatever it was or choke. “There now you will never regain your powers.”

“Now that the last of you abominations are gone I can return these two,” He said and his board showed up holding a bag that dropped out abound and gagged Dani and Vlad. “Good bye boy enjoy your teen years don’t waste time trying to regain what you have lost.” He watched him go in shock as Tucker and Sam emerged around the corner covered in food.

He untied and removed the gag from Dani and asked if she was okay. “I’m fine but my powers are gone.” She said and then looked over at him. “Did he get yours too?” He nodded and then she looked at Vlad. “Should we untie him?”

“I say we leave him,” Sam said speaking up. “He’s probably behind this whole thing anyway.” He saw Tucker nod and he really wanted to but one look at Vlad’s terrified face made him doubt that. He leaned down and pulled his gag off.

“Thank you Daniel,” He said and then looked up expectantly. “Aren’t you going to untie me.” He shook his head no and expected Vlad to start ranting but instead he laughed. “There is no need to fear Daniel I’ve been brought down to normal just like you.”

“Aren’t you supposed to be off recovering from your ordeal?” Sam asked angrily. “The press keeps saying your in seclusion in Wisconsin.” He had wondered about that himself and knew his dad had been pushing to go check on his friend Vlady.

“I was back home attempting and failing I might add to restore my powers when I was grabbed by that lunatic and watched as he disabled my ghost portal and destroyed my lab.” He turned and ran toward his home. He could hear Sam, Tucker and Dani following him while Vlad yelled for them to come untie him.

He came skidding to a stop when he saw is parents talking to the police. Jazz seeing him rushed over. “It’s terrible Danny someone broke in and trashed everything in the lab.” He sat down on the ground in shock. “You have to find who did it and bring them to justice.”

“I can’t Jazz he took my powers away.” He said and seeing her confusion realized he’d left her in the dark about everything going on. He knew she’d be angry but he began to tell her everything that had happened lately.

Notes: This is part of a collection of fics taking place in the same shared universe. It diverges from canon after D-stabilized but before Phantom Planet. I was not satisfied with how Phantom Planet ended the series so its events will never happen in this universe.

A Shocking Separation

She sat watching the coverage of the new Mayor’s benefit dinner to raise money for his next project. She almost wished she was there so she could attack him and expose him as the evil ghost he was in front of everyone but she couldn’t risk it. She couldn’t chance him not changing and getting branded a criminal that would hurt her father too much. She was still determined to keep track of his every move even if it meant watching this boring dinner on public access and listening to him drawn on about how much money had been raised for the good of Amity Park.

She was just watching him take a bite out of a peace of pie when suddenly a man dressed almost identically to her old suit and carrying a large gun burst into the room. “People of Amity Park your Mayor has been under the control of a ghost since he first ran for office.” The man shouted and launched a missile from a bazooka at Vlad. The projectile split and dropped a new over him and most of the dinner table. She watched as Vlad looking completely unconcerned reached up to pull the net off but before he could he began to glow and suddenly changed into his ghost form.

She couldn’t believe her good luck someone else was going to expose him for the world to see even if they thought he was possessed and didn’t know the truth about him being half ghost. He began to scream then and she watched as suddenly as if it was paper being pulled off him his ghost form split off his human form which fell to the ground. The man in the ghost suit extended the other side of his gun it fired a beam that sucked up the ghost. “You should get that man to a hospital long term ghost possession has serious side effects.” The man said and then left the room in a hurray followed by the press asking questions.

She glanced around to make sure her dad wasn’t in the room before summoning her suit and taking off. She needed to find out what was going on so she headed straight for the Banquet hall. She arrived to see the ghost hunter fighting the ghost boy Danny Phantom. “Hold on I just want to know what you did to Plasmius.”

“The same thing I will do to all half ghost, you abominations should not exist,” the man in the mask yelled loudly. “I’ve already dealt with two of your kind so your the last one left.” She brought her board to a stop staring at the scene in shock. The only other half ghost she knew about was that Dani kid. “It appears we are not alone we shall finish this later boy.” The man said and then hit a button on his wrist causing a green portal to appear. She saw the ghost boy lunge for it but the man was threw it and it closed before he could reach it.

“Your half ghost,” She said as she headed towards him. She saw him start and then fly away. She started to follow after him but stopped. She decided to deal with him later she would go see if she could find Dani. The kid was alright for being half ghost so she figured she should find her and make sure she was okay.
